ARIZONA ELECTION GOP PRIMARY RESULTS – JOHN MCCAIN WINS
John McCain proved him as best by winning a primary challenge from former U.S. Congressman J.D. Hayworth. John McCain won this challenge against J.D. Hayworth, a former conservative challenger. After winning the challenge John McCain said “I promise you, I take nothing for granted and will fight with every ounce of strength and conviction I possess to make the case for my continued service in the Senate,”. In November John McCain will face a Democratic Party opponent.
John Sidney McCain III is the senior United States Senator from Arizona. He was the Republican nominee for president in the 2008 United States election. McCain tenable the nomination in 2008 after coming back from early reversals, but lost to Democratic candidate Barack Obama in the general election.
