James hasn’t decided if TNA would achieve that. And reactions to her TNA comments in a new interview have been mixed. Mickie James made the revelation in a new Fanhouse interview in which the former WWE star was asked “have you looked at the possibility — even with the music career that you’re trying to get really rolling here — has the notion of maybe going to work for TNA Wrestling, which has a much less demanding road schedule, has that popped into your head? Or are you trying to step back and really focus on the music at this point?”
In April, the five time Champion was let go by the WWE. On Friday she hit up the NWA Wrestling Legends Fancast. And in May she released a country album “Strangers and Angels”.
She says TNA is a possibility. “Well certainly I’ve entertained the thought and it’s one of those things … there has to be this beautiful marriage between the two.”
Mickie James says her music is her priority currently but TNA’s less demanding schedule of many 100 dates per year or less could be a better fix. “Obviously it would give me a lot more time, but it would also give me that platform to be able to be there for my wrestling fans and hope that they would support me with my music.”
